Lula McLean Chandler, 82, of Sonny Lane, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on August 25, 1929 the daughter of the late Charles Francis and Thelma Chandler McLean. She was a homemaker, a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and the widow of Richard Chandler, Jr.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Douglas Chandler of Mt. Sterling, Jimmy Lewis Chandler of Trigg County, KY and Tommy Lane Chandler of Mt. Sterling; four daughters, Joan (Craig) Shepherd, Phyllis (Alan) Justice, Teresa (Simon) Alexander and Becky (Eddie) Vinson all of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Charles (Mina) McLean of Mt. Sterling; and one sister, Frances Staton of Mt. Sterling; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.
