WHYSKER, Shirley Cecilia (nee Campbell) November 16, 1931 August 18, 2010 It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of Shirley WHYSKER in Victoria, BC on August 18, 2010. Survived by her loving and devoted husband Bob of 57 years, Mom to Debbie (Ron) and Rick (Frances), Grandma to Tanya, Derek (Jenn), Matt and Joe, and G.G. to great granddaughter Mackenzie. Saddened by their loss, is her sister Irene (Ken) Warren, brother-inlaw Dennis (Nancy) Whysker and Aunt Joyce Rhodes. Shirley leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews and many special and dear friends. Pre-deceased by her parents, William and Gladys Campbell, her brother Bill Campbell and two infant grandsons, Samuel and Jackson. Heartfelt thanks to the superb care and compassion given to Shirley by the nurses and volunteers of the 3rd Floor Hospice of RJH. Special thanks to the Browns, Newman's and Cathcart's for their love, support and endless offers of help that was just a phone call away. At Shirley's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice Society at 3rd floor Richmond Pavillion, 1152 Bay St, Victoria, BC V8R 1J8. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on August 27, 2010 at Royal Canadian Legion Propat 292 at 411 Gorge Road E, Victoria, BC from 2 5 PM. 600739 .Published in The Times Colonist from August 21 to August 22, 2010 .
