Mrs. Eisert is Buried Today
Middlebranch - Death claimed the life of Mrs. Herman Eisert, 59, at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the family home in the Middlebranch vicinity. She had been seriously ill for a year and a half, and had spent a portion of this time in a hospital.
Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran church in O'Neill with Rev. E.H. Quast, of Venus, officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill cemetery.
The late Mrs. Eisert, formerly Alma Fredericka Hohndorf, was born February 13, 1888, at Marl, Germany. On October 29, 1917 she was married to Herman Eisert in Berlin, Germany, and the couple came to Holt county from Berlin in November, 1923.
The Eiserts have resided on a farm in northern Holt county since their arrival.
Survivors include the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Ella Boelter, of Middlebranch; two stepsons, Karl Eisert and Werner Eisert, both of Scottsbluff; one brother and six sisters.
The pallbearers at the funeral services were Ralph Young, Walter Young, Edward Krugman, Emmet Moore, Charles Schollmeyer, and Alfred Hipp. Biglin Brothers of O'Neill were in charge of arrangements.
