[skip] I returned here in August past with my wife and boy, who is nearly 5 years old, stands the climate finely. He has played outdoors nearly every day this winter sometimes with the thermometer registering 40 or 50 degrees below zero [skip] I have been mining one of my claims all winter [skip] March 29, selling in Dawson City: Butter 1.75 lb, sugar 75 cents per lb [skip] hay for horses 25 cents per lb [skip] fresh meats 40 to 75 cents per lb, canned vegetables 50 cents per can...canned fruit 75 cents.
