Peter and his wife Anna moved from Cambria Co. PA to Kent, Portage Co.,Ohio about 1866. It is in Kent that he and his wife built their home and raised a family of 12 (9 boys and 3 girls). He was a farmer and he worked for the railroad, in 1880 he was a railroad car inspector. On Feb. 28 1894, Peter passed away. The cause of death listed as Typhoid Fever.

Adopted daughters: Grace and Ella Adams. According to marriage records for Grace and Ella they were the daughters of Richard Adams and Jane Monica (McGuire) Adams.
