Ref: Necrology File, Sharon Library, Sharon, PA -- 5 Jun. 1968, Mrs. Lillie Lowers of the Methodist Home, Meadville, PA, formerly of Stoneboro and Greenville, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in Meadville City Hospital after an extended illness. She was 84.

Mrs. Lowers had been a patient in the home since March 28.

Born in Clarks Mills Feb. 23, 1884, she was the daughter of James and Alice Corll Simons. She had lived in Clarks Mills, Stoneboro and Greenville.

She was married to Fred Heckman, who died in 1925. In 1929, she was married to Bert Lowers, who died in 1935.

Mrs. Lowers taught music for 25 years. She was a member of Stoneboro Methodist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Mont Simons, Clarks Mills, and a sister, Mrs. Rowene Hazen, Waterford, PA. A daughter, Doris, and another sister, preceded her in death. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
