Carl was a Disabled Veteran who served in th U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara; sons, Todd J. and Troy J. Smith; two grandsons, Allen J. and Carl G.W. Smith; two half sisters; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. he was preceded in death by his parents, Opal L. Dutton and Carl D. Smith.
