Tommie (Ward) Watts age 83 of Wellington, died on Saturday, January 18, 2014 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Huntress, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church and Rev. Tory Giddens, pastor officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.

Pallbearers are her grandsons.

Tommie was born on December 25, 1930 in Collingsworth County, to William Raymond and Alice Mae Bruce Ward. She married Charlie Lee Watts on December 16, 1949 in Clovis, NM. He died in 2010.

She graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1948. She was retired from the Wellington Independent School District after 29 years as secretary and business manager. Tommie was a valued member of the staff of Adams Funeral Home for over 10 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 sons Nicky Watts and wife Mitzi of Wellington and Danny Watts and wife Tanja of Memphis; her daughter Melanie Baumgardner and husband Joe of Wellington; 6 sisters Louise Powell of Amarillo, Delores Patterson, Vera Huntress and husband Tom, Glenna Fourmentin and husband Richard, Adelle Barnett and husband Johnny all of Wellington, and Sue Berry and husband Jim of Amarillo; 2 brothers John Henry Ward and Bruce Ward and wife Lana both of Wellington; 9 grandchildren Robert Watts and Czrena, Mindi Price and Darin, Misti Landers and Kurt, Cory Watts, Tasa Richardson and Gregg, Charle Brandon and Kale, Tate, Caleb, and Will Baumgardner; 10 great grandchildren Lee and Ashley Watts, Yancy, Austin, and Shilah Watts, Mason Landers, Dylan Sims, Kyler Brandon, Hunter and Landon Richardson.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Parkview Manor, 1016 16th Street, Wellington, TX. 79095
