Ruby Bearden age 87 of Wellington died on Monday, August 26, 2013 in Wellington.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Feemster, pastor of the New Covenant Church in Lampasas. TX. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home.
Ruby was born on October 27, 1925 to George and Dennie Gragg Brewer . She married Herbert Bearden on September 18, 1943 in the Midway community of Collingsworth County. He died in 2010.
Ruby ran the Wellington Credit Bureau for over 30 years and was the secretary for B and B Electric.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include 3 daughters Elaina Barton and husband John of Wellington, Mary Bearden and Connie Feemster and husband Darrell all of Lampasas; 4 grandchildren Aaron Barton, Stephanie Gray and Brant, Stacy Martin and Shannon, and Shelly Mulchay and Jeremy; 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great- great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Quinton Brewer and by 2 sisters Jessie Brown and Juanita McNabb.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the food pantry of the First Baptist Church, 1106 15th St., Wellington, TX. 79095.
