Betty Jeanne Ence Nelson, age 76, passed away July 14, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City to Leslie R. Ence and Helen B. Ence Franklin. She married Donald G. Nelson on July 17, 1948. Brothers Robert L. Ence, William Garr Ence and Jerold Ence (deceased). She attended West High School, the University of Utah, Alpha Phi Sorority. She was a stewardess on United Air Lines and worked in various positions at Walker Bank. She had five children which she taught and raised, Donald Chad Nelson (Wendy), Corie Fuller (Dave), Nonie Padjen Tappana (Dan), Cortney P. Nelson (Marceen), Matheson P. Nelson (Lezlie). She was a wife for 56 years, grandmother to 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was and will always be a very special lady, a friend and caring person to all, the love of her husband's life. Preceded in death by parents.
