OBITUARY :
GRACE LYNN FLEAGLE, 9, of Chambersburg passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born August 27, 2002 in Chambersburg, the daughter of Donald L. and Lori L. (Williams) Fleagle.
Grace fought a long and courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Her bravery manifested itself on a daily basis as she lived each day to its fullest. Her ATV was her love and transportation and she rode it all over the property, doing things she enjoyed: checking on the family, her own flower garden, the "mini" mare which she "showed" and fishing. She was blunt, honest and full of life with an uncanny ability to draw people to her.
Many, many people were touched by her candor, sweetness and spunky attitude.
She was homeschooled due to her health this past year but her "home school" of Grandview Elementary still played a very important and integral part of her life.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Andrew Knable, her sister, Arielle Sites and her grandparents Donald and Joan Fleagle, Denny and Helen Williams.
Her entire family was her support system, they brought as much light, love and fun to her as she did to them. Grace will be greatly missed by her family, friends and community.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Grace will be laid to rest at Air Hill Cemetery.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made in memory of Grace at "Give Kids the World" http://www.gktw.org or at Give Kids The World Village, 210 South Bass Road, Kissimmee, FL 34746.
