Herbert Roy Moser married Berniece Barbara McConnell on June 20, 1931. Herbert taught at Rose Bank School, Jasper County, Missouri for five or six years including the 1928/1929 school year. He taught at a school near Pittsburg, KS for two years and at Pine School, Jasper County, Missouri for six years. During World War II he was employed at Sunflower Ordinance Plant near Lawrence, Kansas and later held several different managerial positions with Kroger Supermarkets.
