He died on arrival at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London but his last residence was with his wife at 32 ST. Petersburgh Place, Bayswater, Middlesex, England which is now in the western part of London near Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. Hyde Park would have been an ideal location for William and Ernestine with it's Speaker's Corner and demonstrations for Women's Sufferage etc. He lived 69 years.
