George Franklin Starr, age 63, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on May 24, 2012.
Born in Woodbury, George was a retired US Army Sgt., having served 20 years. He then worked for the US Postal Service. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Beloved faher of Michael T. Starr and his wife Georgia of Courtland, VA, Timothy G. Starr of Bellmawr, NJ and Grace Seeney and her husband Jim of Franklinville, NJ. George is also survived by a nephew, Charles F. Starr, Jr. a niece, Geraldine (Sissy) Hernandez, sister in law Geraldine Starr, and was great uncle to six. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Francis and Verta May (Slade) Starr, step mother Clara J. Starr, and brother Charles F. Starr, Sr.
Family and friends will be received at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME, 63 North Main Street, Mullica Hill, NJ, where funeral services will be held. Interment at Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro, NJ.
