Mr. Randolph Louis "Randy" Ginger, 80, a resident of the Hunters Fork community near Belington, was found deceased on Saturday, May 19 2012, after being missing for almost a month.

He was born Jan. 17, 1932, at Marlinton, a son of the late Roy W. and Caroline E. Blackburn Ginger.

Randy was married to the former Lillie Cross Bennett, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2002.

Randy is survived by one daughter, Susan Leight of Yuma, Ariz.; and three sisters, Mary McMannes of Elkins, Ellen Jean Buckheit of Baltimore Md., and Betty Timmons of Glen Burnie Md. Also surviving are his stepchildren, Bernard Bennett and wife, Katherine, of Belington, James and wife, Shirley, of Elkins, Ruth Ann Huffman and husband, Arnold, of Rowelsburg, and Mary Sue Reel and husband, Mike, of Audra community near Belington. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian M. Ginger; three brothers, Dempsey Ginger, Robert Ginger and Frank Ginger; and one stepdaughter, Doretta Kay Bennett.

Mr. Ginger served in the United States Army and the United States National Guard and was formerly employed by D&D Lumber Co. in Belington. He was an avid NASCAR fan and his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. Randy loved the outdoors and was an avid sports enthusiast.

Friends will be received from Talbott Funeral Home in Belington on Saturday, May 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating. Interment will follow in Lambert Chapel Cemetery near Belington where presentation of the American flag will be conducted.
