Angie Darlene Bennett, age 53, of Parkers Lake, passed away Saturday at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Rollins officiating. Burial will be at the Marlar Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time for funeral services.

Born September 18, 1958 in Marshes Siding, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Gladys Viola (Hansford) Gibson. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Glora Lynn Hughes.

Surviving family include her husband Ricky Bennett of Parkers Lake, sons; Stanley Thomas Gibson, Monticello, Jesse Israel, Pine Knot, Mark Trammell, Parkers Lake, Reuben Trammell, Pine Knot, daughters; Christina Roberts, Parkers Lake, Stacey Jones, Tateville, Dora Murphy, Parkers Lake, and Debra Bennett, Parkers Lake. She had a brother Roland Hughes, Pine Knot and sister Missy Sage, Mitchell, Indiana.

Angie had 18 grandchildren.

Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
