Mr. Conn was born April 25, 1915, in Elliott County, Kentucky, residing in the Mansfield area since 1947. He retired from Artesian-Industries after 33 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Ina (Trent) Conn, who he married on November 8, 1944; one daughter, Dolores Harper of Marion, Ohio; one son, Greg Conn of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Kevin and Jeffrey Harper; one sister; Audrey Pennington of Wilmington, Ohio; and two brothers, Everett R. Conn of Crestline and Willie L. Conn of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Josie (Skeens) Conn; a brother, Virgil Conn; a sister, Loreen Kegley; and a son-in-law, Richard K. Harper.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services, which will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Floyd Scaggs of the Hanna Road Church of God, Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Deaf Program at Mansfield City Schools or the American Heart Association.
