Mr. John S. Adam, 59 died tuesday, June 29 at his home, near Dickerson. He was born in Mechanicsburg, Pa., son of the late Rev. John S. Adam and Margartha Harrje Adam.

Mr. Adam was retired from the C&P Telephone Where he worked for 30 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a long time member of the Frederick BPOE.

Surviving are his sister, Marjorie Adam Schoolman, Braddock Heights; one niece, Dinah Cottrell, Hampstead; one nephew, David Schoolman, Provincetown, Mass.

The family will receive friends at the home of Dr. and Mrs. L. R. Schoolman, Braddock Heights, on Friday, July 9 at & p.m. Interment will be private.
