Edward William Bisdee was born May 23, 1923 at Stout, in Grundy County, Iowa the son of Edward and Alice (Cooper) Bisdee, IV. Ed died Sunday, May 14, 2012 at Cedar Ridge Assisted Living Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was 88 years of age.

Ed was a graduate of Cedar Falls, Iowa High School and Spartan School of Aeronautics. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, having served during World War II. He married the former Miss Clare "Nonnie" Kiefer on June 12, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa. They moved to Broken Arrow in 1955 from Tulsa. Clare preceded him in death in 2000. Ed was an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor at American Airlines. He taught himself to use the computer at age 76, becoming interested in genealogy and email. He enjoyed camping and playing poker. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125.



He was preceded in death by parents and sister, Leona.
