She was born August 28, 1946 in Roseburg, Oregon, daughter of William and Bessie McFarland. She married her husband of 37 years, Larry D. Andre, in Newport, Oregon on August 18, 1974. In 1990 they moved to Caldwell, Idaho with their son, Gregg D. Andre.
Pat enjoyed many years of music, camping, scrapbooking, photography, crafts, and playing board games. She worked for Alpine Chalet as a housekeeper, and owned a Tropical Fish Shop in Agate Beach, Oregon. She was also the organist for many Churches. She was a member of the Middleton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
In recent years she was troubled by many health problems, including diabetes, which led to dialysis. In October of 2011, her husband, Larry, made the decision to give Pat his right kidney. It was hoped this gift would give Pat a longer and healthier life. The surgery took place at OHSU on April 17, 2012 and was successful. Pat's suffering ended four days later due to causes unrelated to the surgery.
She is survived by her husband Larry Andre, of Nampa, son Gregg Andre, of Nampa, and brother, William Kenneth McFarland Jr., of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Pat will be missed greatly as a loving mother, wife, sister and friend to many.
