Elsie Belle was by Dad's older Sister. She married Jake Sims on 7 Oct 1933 in Independence County, Arkansas. Elsie was the mother of 7 children. She lived in both Independence and Craighead Counties. I remember Aunt Elsie as a great cook who could turn a chicken, sweet corn, and garden vegetables into a delicious meal in no time at all. She also made the best iced tea. Aunt Elsie seemed to always have a smile on her face. I've often wondered if her middle name came from her beloved step-mother, Belle Wisdom. Aunt Elsie was one of my wonderful older aunts.
