Henderson, TN - Funeral services for Georgia Ann Knott, age 66, will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2010 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Garey and Rev. Maurice Hays officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Knott died Friday, December 3, 2010 at her home.
She was born in Jackson, daughter of the late Eloyd and Nelle Johnson Lancaster and received her education in the local schools, graduating from South Side High School. She was a former employee of Piggly Wiggly Supermarket in Henderson and attended Cave Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by brothers, J.M., William and Lloyd Lancaster; sister, Mary Nell Collins.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Knott of Henderson; two sons, Jeff Knott of Toone, TN, David Knott and wife Kimberly of Itasca, TX; grandchildren, Heather Knott, Jacob Knott, Erin and Mitchell Knott, Justin Knott and Mason Jones; two brothers, Terry Lancaster of Benton, AR and Glenn Lancaster of Meridian, MS; sister, Betty Sue Jeffrey of Pioneer Town, CA.
Visitation will be today from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
