daughter of Henry & Mary Ella (May) Yearley. She was born in Bracebridge, Ont, however, the family moved to British Columbia before 1910 with her mother's family (May's & Taits'). Annie grew up on the lower mainland, and married 2 x. Her first marriage was to Herbert Charles Crewe (died 1933); her 2nd marriage was to Arthur William Hogue (1904-1947). Both marriages took place in New Zealand

Annie never had any biological children of her own, however, she had step children of Arthur William Hogue
Annie later was in a nursing home, she had lost her vision, and suffered severe dementia.
