She was born in Hilbert on March 6, 1912, a daughter of the late Gustave and Elizabeth Scharff Schroeder.
She married Martin Riemer on June 15, 1930 in the Town of Eaton.
Mrs Riemer farmed with her husband until his death in 1963. Later she worked at the Wispride Cheese Plant, Hilbert, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul, and Potter Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs Glen (Geraldine) Behnke, rural Brillion; two sons, Roger of Rural Hilbert and Douglas, rural Brillion; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister Mrs Clarence (Mabel) Holdorf, Manitowoc.
Mrs Riemer was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Funeral services wer held at Trinity LUtheran Church, Rantoul. Burial in the Church cemetery.
