Mrs. Margaret Tilton Watford died Wednesday, January 4, 1967, in Johnson Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be Saturday, January 7, at 11 a.m. at the Happy Home Original Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. F. G. Ard. Burial will be in Piney Forest Cemetery, directed by Mayer Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Bell, Hoyt Miler, William Miller Jr. David Marlow, Luther Marlow, and J. L. Roberts.
Mrs. Watford was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Louis Tilton and the late Annie Lamb Tilton.
Surviving are: her husband, Claude Watford of Hemingway; four sons, Lawrence Watford of Charleston, Lavern Watford and Cole L. Watford of Oklahoma, and Sylvester Watford of Hemingway; two daughters, Ella Mae McCutcheon of Hemingway and Juanita Howard of Georgetown; a brother, Alec Tilton of Andrews; and a sister, Bertie Baxley of Andrews.
