At the family residence, Forest Hill, La., Sunday, December 31, 1939, at 12:10 p.m., James Crow Forsyth, 66. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jennie Forsyth; one daughter, Inez Forsyth of Forest Hill; six sons, H. E. Forsyth of Sicily Island, E.R., J.O., D.H., J.B., and C.J. Forsyth, all of Forest Hill; two brothers, J.R. Forsyth of Falfurrios, Tx., and E.J. Forsyth of Big Lakes, Tx. There is one grandson. Mr. Forsyth was for several years the superintendent of the Beechwood Fish Hatchery near Forest Hill. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m., Monday at the family residence with Rev. House of Glenmora and Rev. McCoy of Lecompte, officiating. Intement was made in Butter's Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Brothers.
