Leroy R. Smale
Leroy R. Smale, 67, of Coatesville RD was pronounced dead on arrival at Southern Chester County Medical Center, Jennersville, after apparently suffering a heart attack. He was the widower of Isabelle Smith Smale.

Born in Cedar Knoll, he was a son of the late Roy J. and Jennie Mae Hess Smale. He lived in Parkesburg most of his life.

He was employed at Lukens Steel Co., Coatesville, until his retirement in 1977 after 35 years. He graduated from Parkesburg High School in 1934.

Mr. Smale was Methodist by faith and was a member of the Keystone Lodge 569, F&AM of Parkesburg.

He is survived by a daughter, Carol Smale of Parkesburg and a brother, Austin Smale of Parkesburg.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg. Interment will be in Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg RD.

SMALE- Of Coatesville R.D. 5, Pa., on Tuesday, December 20, 1983, Leroy R. Smale, husband of the late Isabelle Smith Smale in his 68th year.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg on Friday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. Interment Upper Octorara Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, one hour prior to the service. Please omit flowers and if so desired memorial donations may be made to the Parkesburg Ambulance Association in care of Eleanor Klingler, 531 W. Second Ave., Parkesburg, Pa 19365.
