Ila Jensen Carter
SIGURD, Sevier County - Ila Margret Jensen Carter, 83, Sigurd, died January 28, 1979 in Richfield care center.
Born April 11, 1895, Richfield, Utah to Rasmus N. and Amelia Jensen. Married John Brown Carter, August 19, 1910 in Richfield, Utah. He died August 9, 1948. Active member of the LDS Church Auxilliaries, and the Relief Society.
Survivors: five sons and three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Nola) Dennison, Ephraim, Utah; Mrs. Wendell (Donna) Persons, Crescent Mills, California; Mrs. Glen (Margo) Adams, Beff Flower, California; Charles Carter, Derild Carter, Billy Carter Leon Carter, all of Sigurd, Utah; Don Perry Carter, Melden Massachusetts; 118 grand, great, and great-great grandchildren, one daughter, Carma Manwell preceded her in death; two sisters, four brothers, Mrs. James (Erma) Monroe, Canoga Park, California; Mrs. Art (Mida) Bertola, Salt Lake; Earon Jensen, Sandy; Marion Jensen, Sigurd; Golden Jensen, Richfield; Elmo Jensen, Roy.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday 1 p.m. in the Sigurd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Neal S Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.,. and at the Ward Chapel in Sigurd one hour prier to service time Thursday. Burial, Richfield City Cemetery.
