He was born July 30, 1931, at Inman, S/O Clarence and Louise Christine Theede Achilles. He graduated from Inman High School. He worked for Ely's Service Station, Inman Mutual Telephone Co., and he owned and operated Achilles and Sons Utility Construction Co., Inman.
On Sept. 9, 1986, he married Dorothy L. Reinert-Brown at Bartlesville, Okla. She survives.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in North Inman Cemetery, rural Inman, with the Rev. Donald J. Bosworth presiding.
