Norwegian Swimmer. He was the reigning world champion in the 100m breaststroke. He participated at Athens 2004 Olympic Games and Beijing 2008. He was chosen as European Swimmer of the Year 2011 thanks to his performance at the World Championships in Shanghai where, he won the gold medal. He passed away due to a heart attack while was in the United States where, he was training himself for the Olympics in London 2012.
