ROSEALEAH "ROSE" HICKMAN DUNN
August 8, 1936 - April 30, 2012
Rosealeah passed away Monday at 1:40 A.M., April 30 2012 at Community Hospital-South in Greenwood, Indiana. She was 75.
She was the first of three children born to Paul Donald and Iva Alice (Carter) Hickman of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Rose married James William Dunn, son of J.D. and Vera (Rushing) Dunn in November of 1956.
They were the parents of four children:
Martha Montey, Rosemary Hunter, Robin and James Jay Dunn.
Grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of ten.
Rose lived in Indianapolis, all of her life, until 2002 when she moved to Greenwood, Indiana.
She is survived by all of her children , grand-children and great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Wicks and brother, Jerry Hickman of Indianapolis; and special friend, Rick Kiskaden.
Rose enjoyed making various craft items from plastic canvas.
A memorial service was held Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Faith Baptist Church, 1640 Fry Road in Greenwood, with Pastor Steven Maxie officiating.
Cremated: Her son, Jay Dunn & daughter, Martha Montey have her ashes.
