Nicholas Jay Baker, 21, of Stopper Road, Williamsport, died Monday, September 8, 2008, as a result of injuries from a vehicle accident.

He was born October 31, 1986, in New London, CT, the son of Charles E. Baker, Jr. and Lisa A. Fulkrod Manley.

Nicholas was employed as a mechanic for Bastian Tires of Williamsport. He was a member of the Avis American Legion Post #284.

Nicholas also enjoyed music, playing the guitar and working on cars. He loved going out with his friends and enjoyed life. He also loved spending time with his niece and nephews, Ayden, Madisyn and Quatro "Jack".

He is survived by his parents, Charles E. (Linda) Baker Jr. of Jersey Shore and Lisa A. (Robert) Manley of Williamsport; a brother, Justin C. Baker of Bloomsburg; a sister, Brandy L. Baker of Williamsport; stepbrothers, Benjamin A. Saar of Jersey Shore and Robert G. Manley II of Fort Hood, TX; stepsisters, Amber Saar of Frederick MD, Meagan L. Saar of Jersey Shore, Danielle R. Landis of Liberty and Dawn M. Manley of Williamsport; maternal grandparents, Jay and Patricia Fulkrod of Rauchtown, paternal grandparents, Charles E. and Barbara Baker of Jersey Shore.

Relatives and friends are invited to Nicholas' Life Celebration service noon Thursday, September 11, 2008, at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home" 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore with Pastor David J. Spearly officiating. A receiving of friends will be from 9 a.m. until noon. Burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
