NEWPORT NEWS - Evelyn Louise Desco, 43, lifelong Peninsula resident, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at her residence by carbon monoxide asphyxiation.
Mrs. Desco was preceded in death by her step-father, Herbert Rowe. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Desco; her daughter, Tonia Cooper of Newport News; her son, Robert Clifton Owens of Newport News; and two stepsons including Daniel Desco Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev.; her mother, Evelyn Rowe of Newport News; her sister, Elizabeth Ann Carter of Churchville; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
