Mrs. Julia Emmaline White, 56 of Virden died at 7 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Hospital.
She was born in Dawson the daughter of John and Margaret Fortner Sargent. She married Lowell White April 1, 1940 and he preceded her in death December, 1976. She had been a resident of Virden most of her life.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Hotarek of Springfield, Miss Lucille White of Virden and Mrs. Brenda Ovington of Auburn; two sons, Lowell Jr. and Fred White of Virden; four sisters; Mrs. Alice Molohon of Girard, Mrs. Pearl Guthrie of Hardin, Mrs. Dorothy Ketchum of Virden and Mrs. Hazel Bolton of Windsor; two brothers, John Sargent of Springfield and Gene Sargent of Virden.
Services will be at 3p.m. Saturday in Berry Funeral Home, Virden, the Rev. Robert Gray officiating. Burial will be in Virden Cemetery.
