Jeanne Elizabeth Ward was born in Reynolds, White, Indiana, 26 Feb 1924, the first of five daughters of Lewis William Ward and Elizabeth Porter Ward. She moved to Chicago, Cook, Illinois as a child. She won a scholarship to The Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, Cook, Illinois, where she studied for two years after graduating from high school.
On 14 Jan 1950, Jeanne was united in marriage to Steven Leo Reggio at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Chicago, Cook, Illinois.
In August 1955, she and her husband and children moved to Matamoras, Pike, Pennsylvania from Ridgewood, Bergen, New Jersey. She was a member of Saint Joseph's R. C. Church, Matamoras, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed painting, drawing and sewing. She was a member of the Old Mine Road Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Port Jervis, Orange, New York.
Jeanne and her husband raised eight children together.
She worked for Kolmar Laboratories for many years.
In 2003, she moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she was a member of Saint Patrick's R.C. Church. She died at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg.
She was predeceased by her husband of forty-five years, Steven Leo Reggio, and by a son, Rex Reggio.
Following a prayer service at Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis, New York, a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Joseph's R.C. Church, Matamoras, Pennsylvania, was celebrated by the Reverend August Ricciardi.
Burial was in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, New York.
