William G. MacDowall, 83, of Binghamton and Phoenix, AZ passed away on February 11, 2015 with his family by his side. He is predeceased by his wife Grace (Caruso); mother Gertrude and father Everett. He is survived by his son Bill; grandchildren Colleen, Corinne, James and Justin; and brother Mark MacDowall of Phoenix, AZ.

Bill was a member of the Order of Merlin of IBM (International Brotherhood of Magicians); he was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 1645. He was a graduate of North High School, Cortland College and received a Master's Degree in Education from Harpur College. He was also an American Indian Expert and a Hypnotist.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 4 to 7pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are in the care of Albert J. DeMarco.
