Fred spent the majority of his adult years living in New Westminster, BC. He was a tax assessor for the City of Vancouver until he retired.
He had two step children, Fred (Freddie), and Nancy, and three biological children: Shelley & David, and Allen d 1967
Nancy cared for Fred in his later years.
He was very active in the "Army & Navy" club, and liked his beer!

YEARLEY _ Frederick Allen February 12, 1926 - October 9 2006 Fred passed away peacefully at home in his 80th year, after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by sons Fred (Theresa), David (Shannon), daughters Shelley (Ray), Nancy and grandchildren Vanessa, Meaghan, Alison, Lauren, Sienna, and Zachary. Fred was born in New Westminster where he resided for most of his life. He was past president of Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada Pompier unit 314. May you rest in peace, dear father until we meet again. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. Saturday, October 14th, 2006 at Columbia-Bowell Funeral Chapel, 219 Sixth St., New Westminster. .Published in Vancouver Sun and The Province on October 12, 2006 .
