Fred spent the majority of his adult years living in New Westminster, BC. He was a tax assessor for the City of Vancouver until he retired.
He had two step children, Fred (Freddie), and Nancy, and three biological children: Shelley & David, and Allen d 1967
Nancy cared for Fred in his later years.
He was very active in the "Army & Navy" club, and liked his beer!

Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by sons Fred (Theresa), David (Shannon), daughters Shelley (Ray), Nancy and grandchildren Vanessa, Meaghan, Alison, Lauren, Sienna, and Zachary. Fred was born in New Westminster where he resided for most of his life. He was past president of Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada Pompier unit 314.
