Louise C. Pembleton, 92, died Monday June 7, 2004 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Louise Sorenson Pembleton. Louise worked for the NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance for over 40 years, retiring in 1976. She was a longtime member of the Third Reformed Church. Louise was active in various aspects of church life - the consistory, women's groups, and generally in every area. She had a great love of german shepherds and owned a few during her lifetime.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Harriet and Donald Bulger, Sr.; her loving nieces and nephews, Donald Bulger Jr. and Sally Louise Lennon and John, Karen Becker, Dennis Bulger and Rose, Louise was also great aunt and great-great-aunt to a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. with Rev. Mark Ennis, Pastor of the Third Reformed Church officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Louise may be made to the Thirds Reformed Church, 20 Ten Eyck Ave., Albany, NY 12209
