She married widower Benjamin F. Ellis in Oregon in April of 1907, and they moved to Los Angeles, Ca in 1912. According to my grandfather's oral history, they had a daughter named Virginia Ellis in December of 1912.
My grandfather loved her so much. He never knew his real mother, and Annie was very good to him.
Annie died of Spanish Flu during the great pandemic that swept the country at that time. According to her death certificate, she was further weakened by a miscarriage that occurred a few months prior to her death. Buried next to Annie is her husband, Benjamin Franklin Ellis, d 1939, no marker, just a yellow rose.
