Cheryl was born the daughter of James and Vicki Everson. She spent most of her life in Lawrence, moving with her husband to Altus in 2002. She and Kenneth Christian were married on August 10, 1994. He survives along with two sons, Justin Coleman and Levi Everson, her father, James Everson and mother and stepfather, Vicki and Bryant Philgreen, a sister, Cindy Howell, a brother, Bradley Everson and a maternal grandfather.
