Joseph E. Sack, 75, of Amsterdam died Sunday in Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville. He was a retired coal miner and State Highway Department employee. Mr. Sack was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1495, both in Amsterdam.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sue (Pearson) Sack; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Anna Marie) Gregor of Amsterdam; four sons, Joseph and William, both of Amsterdam, Thomas of Canton and August Sack of North canton; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister. Services were Wednesday in St. Joseph's Church with interment in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
