Mildred B. Wall (nee James) was born Jan. 22, 1845; died July 28, 1928; age
83 years, 6 months, 6 days. She was married to James M. Wall in May, 1865.
To this union were born 12 children - 7 boys and 5 girls, all living.
Following is a list of their names: Frank Wall, Bettie Cochran, W. C. Wall,
F. I. Wall, Ida Keeth, W. H. Wall, Peach Wall, Ollie Wiles, Chester Wall,
Cora Miller, Jesse Wall and Stella Workman.

Sister Wall was converted when 30 years old and united with the Methodist
Church and lived a faithful, devoted Christian life to the end, when God
Called her home from labor to reward where she rests from all her labor and
Her works follow on.

Grandma Wall represented the rugged, stalwart character, the indomitable
Will, untiring industry and conquering faith of the early pioneers of this
Part of the country. All these years which have come and gone she has borne
Her full share of the burdens and shared in the sorrows and the joys, the
Hopes and the fears, the adversity and the prosperity that comes to all of
Us in this life. She was devoted to her home and children and gave to them
The full measure of the mother's heart. She was a faithful wife, a good
Neighbor and a kind friend, loved and respected by all. All are ready to
Rise up and call her blessed. Mother lives in Glory. Will meet you there.
Gone but not forgotten. She left to mourn her departure a kind husband, 12
Dear children, about 130 grand and great-grandchildren, other relatives and
Many friends. Funeral services were conducted by the writer in the home
Church in the presence of a very large congregation. After words of comfort
And cheer had been spoken the body was laid to rest in the home burying
Ground near the church, there to rest in peace till the final ressurection
Day.

To her children she was true,

Guiding them in wisdom's way.

When our days on earth are thru,

We shall live with her for aye.

Mother lives in glory,

With the Lord forever more.

Some sweet day we'll meet her there,

On that bright eternal shore.

-- Love to all. Your Brother in Christ. - C. M. Sooter.
