Giles T. Whitley, thirty-three years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Whitley of this city, died Saturday night at 10 o'clock after several weeks' illness. He was born and raised in Beaufort county. He moved to Norfolk several years ago, where he worked. From there he went to Pawtucket, R. I,, where he made his home since then. He was married in 1910 to Miss Mable Cosgrove of that city. Four children survive survive him. He was a member of the Christian church. The funeral services were held here Sunday afternoon from the home, conducted by Rev. D. H. Tuttle assisted by Rev. M. E. Sadler, of the Christian church.
