John,was is survived by his widow Ruby Lee Dunsworth, worked as an oil field employee for A. W. Bailey & Sons of Neodesha. A Protestant, he was born May 6, 1880, the son of Thomas Dunsworth, born in McDonough County, Illinois, and Mildred Adelia Tugle, birthplace unknown.
Mrs. Dunsworth and her children arranged his memorial service with the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home of Neodesha and celebrated August 5, 1954 with the Reverend Frank W. Sprague officiating. Pallbearers included Oscar Ross, Maurice Bailey and Joe Howard. Interment was in the Neodesha City Cemetery.
