W.T. Myers, 81 dies
W.T. Myers, 81, a native of Texas and a resident of Montague Co. since 1931, died at his home near Bowie, Saturday morning.
Funeral services were held at the Burgess Funeral Home Chapel, Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. with the Rev. G.B. Bradshaw officiating. Interment was at the Brushy Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, three sons; Calvin Myers of Ft. Worth, Preston Myers of Refugio and Floyd Myers of Bowie; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Chowning of El Paso, Mrs. Edna Short of Port Lavaca and Mrs. Beulah Nichols of Bowie.
17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
