SHAMROCK — Donald "Don" Wayne Biggers, 71, of Shamrock died Friday, April 6, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Shamrock Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Jernigan officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.

Don was born May 2, 1940, in Hobart, Okla., to George and Ida Mae Curtis Biggers. He married Vera New on Sept. 9, 1960, in Hobart. Together, they lived in Shamrock since 1964 ,where he worked as a
pharmacist operating Mahnken Drug for more than 44 years. Don was a member of several civic organizations, including the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, and was a member of
Shamrock Masonic Lodge No. 929 AF and AM. His favorite past times include farming, cattle and rebuilding antique cars. Don was a member of First Baptist Church in Shamrock.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert "Bobby"
Biggers.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, David Biggers and wife Terry of Vincent, Ala., Greg Biggers and wife Vicki of North Richland Hills and Daren Biggers and wife Ashley or Gunnison, Colo.; five grandchildren, Dusty Biggers and wife Kate of Weatherford, Okla., Chance Biggers, Alissa Biggers, Evan Biggers and Olivia Biggers; and a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh.
