Charles Michael PFEIFFER was the son of Charles Alexander PFEIFFER and Ellen Louise OLSON. Known as "Bunny" to everyone, he was born 17 SEP 1901 in Custer, Idaho.

Bunny married Irene MICHAEL on 15 JUN 1927, and made their home in California until 1929. They then returned to Challis & purchased the Clarence Burstedt Grocery Store, which they renamed the Pfeiffer Cash Store. Bunny retired in 1951.
Bunny served as a member of the Challis Fire Department for fifteen years and had a great love for serving his community. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all kinds of outdoor activities.
Bunny & Irene were the proud parents of three children: Gladys, Carol & Earl.
Bunny died of a sudden heart attack on 19 MAY 1956 & was buried in Challis.
