Judy Marie (Hamm) McClaskey, 59, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Judy was born December 27, 1952 to James and Betty Hamm in Des Moines. She was a daycare provider for 16 years and loved children. Judy was a courageous woman with a strong faith in the Lord and great love and commitment to her family.

Judy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dwight; children, Kevin (Chris), Shanna (Jesse) Carroll, Christopher (Heather) and David (Jessie); 11 grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Juliann (Steve) Reben; and a host of other extended loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, 1451 E. 25th St. followed by burial at 2 p.m. at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to DaVita Dialysis Center in loving memory of Judy.
