Retired owner/operator of Professional Printer of Baton Rouge, he went to be with the Lord at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 73, a native of Knottleyville and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2004 with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Buriel at the church at noon Saturday, celebrated by the Rev. Miles Walsh. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, two daughters and sons-in-law, a son and two daughters-in-law, a sister, 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bernadette Mayers Lanclos; a son, Philip Louis Lanclos; and four brothers, L.J., Herman, Nathan, Verley Lanclos. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
