Notes from Karen Dean Fisher 2014:

Some of us are old enough to remember Dr. Harry; physician, mayor, bank director, a founder of Salem Hospital and a character. There is very little of him online when there should be so much more. His original office was in a two story brick building next to The Good Year Tire Story on the square, about where the log cabin is now. He then moved to the building across from the Presby Church where his son. Dr. Lee joined him once he completed his residency in general surgery. (b. 1872 D. 1955)

Harry Bookwalter 1937 Torch yearbook; he was a huge sponsor of all things 'educational'.
